"We as society have to come together and say enough of this," Democratic U.S. Senator Bill Nelson told reporters in Jacksonville, near the site of the shooting at a Madden 19 online football game tournament. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified the shooter, who took his own life, as David Katz, 24, of Baltimore. |

Gunman kills two at video game tournament in Florida Posted: 26 Aug 2018 06:28 PM PDT A video gamer killed two people and wounded several others on Sunday when he opened fire with a handgun at a tournament that was being streamed online from a restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida, police said. Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams named the shooter as David Katz, 24, of Baltimore and said he was in town for the competition. The sheriff's office said 11 people were wounded by gunfire, and at least two others were injured while fleeing the scene. |

Kiir's government and some small opposition groups had initialled the draft at a ceremony hosted by Khartoum outside the Sudanese capital earlier on Tuesday, but Machar's SPLM-IO and another rebel group refused to sign, saying that disputes over power sharing and a new constitution had been left out. "Intensive negotiations with Dr. Riek Machar ... has led to Dr. Riek Machar agreeing to initial the final peace agreement the day after tomorrow, on Thursday, August 30," Sudanese Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed said in a statement. |
