Canada's Trudeau, facing groping allegation, says he apologized, did nothing wrong Posted: 05 Jul 2018 03:13 PM PDT By David Ljunggren OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a supporter of feminist causes, on Thursday conceded for the first time that he had apologized in 2000 to a woman who accused him of groping her but insisted he did not feel he had done anything wrong. Trudeau, whose government is working on new legislation against workplace harassment, has faced Canadian media scrutiny in recent weeks about what happened at a charity fundraiser in Creston, British Columbia nearly 20 years ago. According to an unsigned editorial in 2000 in the local newspaper, the Creston Valley Advance, Trudeau apologized to a local female reporter for inappropriately "handling" her. |

Trenta comes from the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement which has always been critical of NATO member Italy's order for 90 of the planes, saying the money could be better spent to boost welfare and help the sluggish economy. "We won't buy any more F-35s," Trenta said in a television interview with private broadcaster La 7. |

The accusation first appeared in a local newspaper a few days after a music festival in British Columbia that Trudeau, then a 28-year-old teacher, was attending. The unsigned editorial in the Creston Valley Advance accused Trudeau of "groping" and "inappropriately handling" an unnamed reporter who was covering the event. |

Reinventing Your Adult Relationship With a Parent Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:38 AM PDT No matter how old you or your parents are, some things never change. Others are more subtle: Their annoying behavior feels on the surface inconsequential, but over time can strain or irritate. |
